Frequently asked questions about Rotating PDFs
How do I rotate PDF pages?
Upload your PDF document. You can then click the small rotate icon on each page thumbnail to rotate it 90 degrees clockwise. For multiple pages, select them (Ctrl/Cmd + click) and use the "Rotate Right 90°" or "Rotate Left 90°" buttons. When you're happy with the orientation, click "Apply Changes" to generate your new PDF.
Is it safe to rotate PDFs online with PDFClear?
Absolutely. PDFClear prioritizes your privacy. All PDF rotation operations are performed directly within your web browser. Your files are never uploaded to any server, ensuring complete confidentiality and security.
Can I rotate specific pages only, or the whole document?
Yes, you have full control. You can either rotate individual pages one by one using the icon on each thumbnail, or you can select multiple pages (using Ctrl/Cmd + click) and rotate them together using the action buttons. If no pages are selected, applying changes will apply the rotations to all pages that you've interacted with.
What rotation angles are supported?
Our tool allows you to rotate pages by 90 degrees in either a clockwise or counter-clockwise direction. This means you can achieve orientations of 90°, 180°, or 270° relative to the page's original default view.
